11-26 Giving thanks for electricity, dairy and fermented beverages
We celebrated our American holiday in true American style with Kraft mac and cheese (courtesy of Jason’s parents) and a homemade pumpkin pie. I got lucky and found eggs at the store, otherwise I would have been forced to squeeze chickens until eggs popped out. That’s how it works, right?
We’re now in Vila for a week. If you see either of us online on skype, facebook, gchat or your instant messenger of choice, say hi. If you think you’re schedule will be incompatible with ours, send us an email and we’ll respond in something approximating realtime. It will be faster than the two months it would take on the islnd anyway. Really, the best part of coming into town is hearing from people, even if you think you have nothing to say.
